From June 22 to 26, the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo was successfully held at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Venue) in Beijing. As a global provider of integrated intelligent storage and handling solutions for bulk materials, Henan SRON Silo Engineering Co., Ltd. made its debut at Booth E4-B08 in the Green Agriculture Chain Exhibition Area. SRON exhibited alongside leading international enterprises including COFCO Group, Cargill, Charoen Pokphand Group, and the U.S. Soybean Export Council, presenting a comprehensive set of green and low-carbon grain storage technologies. The company fully demonstrated the independent innovation capabilities and global expansion achievements of China’s bulk material storage and handling industry.
Engaging in High-Level Dialogue and Sharing China’s Green Supply Chain Solutions
On June 23, Chairman Wen Peng was invited to participate in the themed event “Leading High-Quality Agricultural Development Through Green Transformation” and delivered a keynote presentation during the panel discussion “Building a Globally Oriented Green Supply Chain.” The session was moderated by Zheng Junfeng, host of China Global Television Network, and brought together distinguished industry leaders, including Dong Xinglei, Deputy General Manager of the Agro-related Corporate Business Department of the Agricultural Bank of China; Carlos Salinas, Executive Director for East Asia of the U.S. Soybean Export Council; Sun Yonghua, Vice President for North Asia of Louis Dreyfus Company; and Gu Lei, Chief Impact Officer of McDonald’s China.
Drawing on SRON’s practical experience in building over 1,000 intelligent silos across more than 40 countries and regions worldwide, Wenpeng shared his insights on the new challenges to global food security and the development of green supply chains. He pointed out that the core of food security has shifted from “whether production volume is sufficient” to “whether the supply chain possesses resilience, efficiency, and sustainable development capabilities.” He systematically elaborated on the key value of green supply chains from three dimensions: reducing storage and transportation losses, lowering energy consumption and emissions, and enhancing risk resistance. Addressing industry pain points, he presented a systematic solution validated by China’s ultra-large-scale market. He emphasized that future grain silos will no longer be merely storage facilities, but will evolve into integrated energy and data hubs combining digital twin intelligent control, new energy integration (such as “photovoltaic + energy storage + microgrid”), and underground low-temperature grain storage. His forward-looking yet highly practical industry perspectives won wide recognition from political and business guests at the event.

Secures National-Level Authoritative Award, Reinforcing Its Position as an Industry Benchmark
During the exhibition, the research paper “Research on Global Food Supply Chain Security and Risk Assessment—A Perspective Based on the Overseas Expansion Practices of Chinese Grain Bulk Material Storage and Handling Enterprises,” authored by Chairman Wen Peng, won the Second Prize in the Industrial and Commercial Competition. The competition, hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Research Institute, is highly authoritative within the industry. The paper takes SRON’s overseas projects as practical case studies and systematically demonstrates the application value of technologies such as digital twins and photovoltaic energy storage in reducing grain loss, achieving low-carbon emissions, and ensuring supply chain security. It provides replicable and scalable grain storage infrastructure models for food security development in Belt and Road countries. The company’s innovative achievements in green grain storage and handling have received authoritative endorsement from this national-level platform.

Leaders from Multiple Fields Visit the Exhibition, Green Grain Storage Solution Receives High Recognition
During the exhibition, Vice Governor of Henan Province Liu Yujiang led a provincial economic and trade delegation to visit the booth, accompanied by officials from the Henan Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission. Luo Shouquan, Director of the Department of Grain Reserves, National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, visited the site and focused on learning about the company’s smart warehousing technologies, low-carbon grain storage R&D achievements, and their overseas implementation. Liu Jiannan, Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), also visited the booth and conducted an on-site survey of SRON’s complete sets of storage and handling equipment and the application effectiveness in overseas markets. All the leaders unanimously affirmed SRON’s development achievements in deeply cultivating the “Belt and Road” markets: its business now spans more than 40 countries and regions worldwide, with over 1,000 intelligent silo projects successfully implemented, continuously exporting low-carbon intelligent storage systems to countries along the Belt and Road.
Central and Provincial Mainstream Media Deliver Concentrated Coverage, Innovative Model Achieves Widespread Dissemination Across the Internet
Mainstream central-level media outlets such as China Daily, CCTV, Huanqiu.com, China Business News Network, and CNR.cn, along with provincial mainstream media including CCTV-17 Agriculture and Rural Channel, Henan Daily, Dahe Finance Cube, successively published news reports on SRON’s participation in the Chain Expo. In addition, more than 50 media outlets reported on or reprinted coverage of SRON’s exhibition at the Chain Expo.
Among them, CCTV-17’s China Agriculture, Countryside and Farmers Report program conducted an on-site exclusive interview with SRON Chairman Wen Peng, focusing on SRON’s intelligent grain storage solutions showcased at the Chain Expo. The media provided in-depth coverage centered on the company’s three core advantages: first, leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT), AI early warning systems, and digital twin technology to achieve full-process digital management of warehousing; second, innovating an integrated “rooftop photovoltaic + energy storage microgrid” system, transforming warehousing facilities into green energy nodes; third, adopting double-layer insulation structures, nitrogen-controlled atmosphere technology, and other processes to significantly reduce post-harvest grain losses.
Cutting-edge technologies attract global customers, and international cooperation intentions continue to be implemented
SRON’s booth remained highly popular throughout the event, attracting business visitors and industry organizations from multiple countries including the United States, Thailand, Mexico, and Vietnam for discussions and exchanges. The exhibition showcased core innovative achievements such as the Smart Storage & Handling Control Platform, Photovoltaic Energy Storage Microgrid System, Low-Temperature Insulated Storage Silo, and Underground Constant-Temperature Grain Silo, fully demonstrating the company’s end-to-end EPC engineering service capabilities across the grain, mining, and building materials sectors. Efficient on-site business matchmaking drove forward multiple cross-border industrial cooperation intentions.
